It amazes me that people think suicide is a sign of weakness. Its a sign of a person who is so hurt, angry, and/or so unhappy they can no longer find a reason for living. Don't make stupid remarks unless your well informed. You may just be making a situation worse than it already is.

Having said that, my brother committed suicide a year ago. He left behind a daughter, a wife, two sisters, a father, and many other people who loved him.
It is not like a regular death like someone dying of a heart attack, a stroke, cancer or any other acceptable form of death..yeah they are acceptable forms of death. He left behind people thinking why didn't I do more, I could've, I should've. The guilt of the people you leave behind is huge. The horror of finding a person that took their own life is terrible and life altering. (I suffer from terrible nightmares and insomnia now.) I know a suicidal person may think they are actually doing their family a favor but they are not.

They also leave behind the people who love themthinking..they missed this... when great things happen around them. For instance: My brother will never see his daughter get married, his grandchild smiling for the first time, or walking, or anything else for that matter.

If you are considering it please seek help. If your life is so terrible right now, ask yourself where you will be a year or three years from now. Where were you a year ago? Three years ago?
Trust me the outlook will change. If anything give yourself one year, just one year..and use that year to live the fullest life you can imagine for yourself. In that years time things will change. You never know, you may find the person of your dreams, you may have a child, you may be on your way to having a carrer, but you can only do these things if you give yourself a chance.

I know you asked this kinda tounge in cheek..but maybe your wondering for a reason..if you are...Don't do it. There is so much out there, new experiences, new people, a life that you never knew exsisted. Find it. Seek help, professional help, if you are thinking about it. Please.
There is help out there for anyone under any circumstances. Just pick up the phone and make a phone call its that easy. I know it might seem hard, but it really is easy once you commit to the decision to help yourself.
If you can commit to the decision to suicide, think about committing to the decision to seek some type of help instead.

I particularly recognize the sensation.. I've been so almost suicide with atenolol capsules however I used to be simply scared they would not kill me and I'd be left throwing up with broken inside organs for the relaxation of my existence. And yeah I chickened out at final minute. Check my query, I self damage alot.. I'd be a critic if I informed you the whole lot will determine simply great finally intent I consider like so that they can not ever occur for myself. But the excellent I can say for you, is move see a health care professional or uncover extra peers on-line, and set your self a target to paintings in the direction of. It may also be some thing, colossal or small. Hope I helped, well success..

There are 2 kinds of self termination
1) The emotionally distraught - should have counseling to find a way to use and enjoy their talents
2) The physically ill - when current medical science is unable to cure you, to live a normal life . . .
Then each individual should be able to make the decision about how they exit this planet. Their life should be in their hands and not the hands of the religious nazis.

I see so many people saying "It makes you a coward", "you're inconsiderate", "you're a quitter", etc.

Did any of you think what the hell the person commiting suicide might be doing?

Here's a what-if: 14-year old girl. Getting raped. Every night. By her father. And nobody cares. No friends, no relatives. Her dad said he would kill her AND her mom if she told anyone.

What the hell would you do?

I am all for it. If someone feels they MUST kill someone then certainly they should KILL them self and leave everyone else alone !!!

I think it is sad that people get so down that they think this is the only thing left to do. Perhaps if they were taught to appreciate life more, they'd choose differently but killing themselves and leaving their families alone is the better choice than wiping out the whole family.

Not good at all! The only way it would be acceptable is if a person was dying n e way. People never seem to think about the pain and suffering of those they love will go through, they ruin lives and take the cowards way out. at the end of the day if people are having thoughts like that they need to get help and not just sit on it. i did and i'm ok now i wouldn,t accept those feelings and i wouldn't put my familt through it, you just gotta get back up and fight!

I dont think u would go to hell, because i dont believe in heaven/hell/god. i think after you die, its just a big nothingness, so i wonder y ppl would wanna kill themselves, when it is so much nicer on earth. suicide is for ppl that have no choice left, or are feeling like they are backed into a corner. lol, i love how everyone is telling u to seek professional help when u didnt even say u were suicidal.

Cowardly - everyone has problems but killing yourself is not the solution. Self-reflection and improvement can be achieved by anyone! Life gives you many opportunities to reinvent yourself. Some people just don't want to put forth the effort

Life like school. You get graded on your good deeds, marked off by sins. If you commited suicide during your life at a young age (5-50) God wouldn't be able to see what you were going to do with the rest of your life and he wouldn't have any choice but to send you to hell since he can't grade you anymore.
