First, identify your goals: what do you want out of your University experience? What sort of marks? Education?

Then figure out a plan to accomplish that. You then need to stick to that plan. When you stray or feel like straying, ask yourself what you are choosing: to succeed at your plan or to fail at your plan. You can't be doing both. You're either following your plan to success or you are choosing not to. Little temptations will show up regularly and you need to make a choice: is the temptation more important to you or your success? And this is the key: TO REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE CONSTANTLY CHOOSING ONE OVER THE OTHER. You have a choice. What have you been choosing and what do you want to be choosing?

Also, just as a bonus, you might check out the book "What Smart Students Know" by Adam Robinson, just to make sure you are working as effectively as you could be.

Being customary" now would not propose you will consistently be customary. in case you artwork demanding, there's no explanation why you isn't greater effective than customary. i do no longer likely have self assurance in "naturaly gifted" - people who get everywhere in existence consistently have had to artwork demanding. in truthfully fact, maximum instructors at med college state that reading medicine isn't a rapid sprint on the top in direction of examination time, it extremely is greater a protracted distance run the place you're able to desire to be continual and able to work out the top in sight. i've got met many people who needed to be docs for as long as they are able to bear in mind. They finally end up following their dream even after having families, different jobs, re-sitting tests, doing different ranges - in case you like it, go get it. do no longer stay existence with experience sorry approximately, do it and reassure your self which you have tried your terrific fairly than contemplate a "what if" all your existence. bear in mind, no longer something is impossible - carry on with your dream and don't permit everyone inform you which you won't be able to be a physician.

try to make your studying more fun so you dont get too bored learning or reading sthg......for better concentration u can drink a glass of milk, eat some chocolate or an apple, and try to study when you are in the mood...another thing: u should pay good attention on your classes and then you wont have any trouble with studying at home

The first step I took towards that, was realizing that if you go to bed early, you don't really miss anything. So for my 8am classes, I started goin to bed at 11, even though I knew my friends would be up 'till 3.

For my dad... it took joining the army to get him the motiviation to get something else done with his life.

It's simple. If that's what you want to do and that's whom you want to be, then do it and be it. There's no magic pill that will help and no one can do it for you. It's your life. It's your choice.

And, organization is the key to making sure that you stay on that track.

Best luck.
