Try emailing the Samaritans - www.samaritans.org. They are there 24hrs a day and are available online. Or, for more specific help, try googling forums/ support groups for social phobias. If you have been diagnosed with these conditions and are receiving treatment it is clearly not working if you feel this bad. You need to arrange an appointment with your doctor for reassessment.

I do understand how you feel. You've made a big step asking for help. Many people underestimate the effects of depression and phobias. Ignore those who leave foolish messages. They are idiots and you are a fighter, worth ten of them!

Good luck!

I have suffered from depression for years and there has been a suicide in my family. My email address is:
catwomanlex@yahoo.ie
and I would like to be able to help you. I am over 60 and not a fool and anything said would be completely confidential.
Perhaps the Samaritans have a help-line online. Worth trying. Take care and God bless. Hope you get this dealt with soon.

Type helplines or something along those lines into Google and I'm sure you'll find a good site where you can talk to someone online. In the meantime, you have my deepest sympathies. I suffer depression, it's rotten. Everyone has suicidal thoughts sometimes, you are not alone. I used to stay in my room for weeks not wanted to even go and get food in case I bumped into one of my house mates. Just hang in there, it'll gradually get better. Try to think of all the good things in the world. Go to Google image search and type in whatever you find beautiful. I love bonsai trees and looking at them makes me remember that there are beautiful things in the world worth living for. Give it a try. Good luck, I hope you feel better soon

I understand what you are going through. Someone in your past has put you down or made you feel worthless, which effects who you are today. When you feel worthless or unimportant, you may feel others see you as this way. Also, when people are depressed, they lose interest in things which makes it difficult to talk to people and share your interests. Don't let things bother you. Find something you are passionate about. Always be confident and take pride in who you are and what you do. If you act that way, eventually you will feel that way.

Go to: www.depression.com/- Have a look at www.relax7.com and view the blogs of Shan Eris on "tackling depression" at www.myspace.com There is a toolbar at the top; type in "depression;" followed by the 2 letter code of your country, eg, if in New Zealand, it would be "depression;nz" for more links.

Just say to yourself it isint my fault I have a soar throat, and youuu'll get one thing off your chest. Next suicide isinnn't gonna get you in heaven. You know that suicide is like dropping out of heaven? God can't judge you for the better portion of your life so he has no choice but to send you to hell for eternal dammnation. So get those thoughts outta there as there are dire consequences. Social phobia... Have a best friend and nothing more.
