First of all, those graphs are using results from the United States only- not exactly an accurate depiction of any race as it only shows you results from this country.

Secondly, you seem to be unaware that "race" is considered a scientifically invalid concept- and has been for some time. The only accepted difference between persons in this area is ethnicity, which is quite a different concept from race. You, sir, are not only showing your ignorance, but your sad lack of education. If you're going to post all over the place about racial superiority, you should really submit a copy of your own IQ test scores to prove to us you have the right to even speak on the subject.

Thirdly, as the first poster has already pointed out, IQ tests have long been believed to have a strong European bias, much like the public school systems in America. European history is all well and good, but there are other peoples who've shaped this country, and the school system ignores them in every month but February (and that only covers "Black History Month", not the plethora of other cultures who have affected the country). Wouldn't you be bored if all you learned in school was black history, which, I'm sure, would seem absolutely irrelevant to you? Oh, right, I forgot- we're meant to believe that you have a three digit IQ.

Fourthly, you're comment about "Asians having nothing when coming to this country" in relation to the struggle of African-Americans is hilarious. Have you been to Japan? Do you realize that Japan is far, far more competitive than America? Furthermore, how can you equate the struggles of African-Americans to overcome the racism that still clearly prevails in America today to that of an immigrant, or even fourth or fifth generation Asian family? The two are not the same, especially considering that prejudice against Asians is considerably less- and expectations are considerably higher. Of course, now I'm assuming that you've heard of a "self-fulfilling prophecy."

Finally, sir, I'm left to ask: if racial difference is so widely accepted as you claim, why are you trying to spread the gospel on Yahoo Answers? Don't you think the world would already know? Don't you think you, as an intellectually superior Anglo-Saxon, would have something more pressing and intelligent to do than post drivel on a web site that has no scientific credibility?

I disagree. Society is a factor for two reasons I can think of: society impact begins with pregnancy of the mother and the gap originates earlier than you postulate. Poverty and nutrition by and large do have an impact.

I don't know wwht "Parental SES" means, but the graph measuring IT seems to imply that the gap closes at approx. 10th decile...

Secondly, the standards of intelligence are still largely white middle class, and as the second reference states, a highly debatable statistic


ADDED: Matt honey, try to remember that Africa is our place of origin. And I am rather certain that the skin color of monkeys is white.

The gap is so glaring because the IQ tests are made my whites, with questions that are influenced by overtones of white American culture.
Also, blacks on the whole are still digging themselves out of the hole of having been slaves just a few generations ago. White kids are coming from many generations of solid education.

Its because of the color you see its the difference between night and day, black people are still evolving from the monkey stage of the evelutionary latter so their brains have not fully developed as of yet, therefore they will not have the mental capacity of their more advanced white folk.
