The lower part of your back aches -- simple as that.

Instead of feeling a contraction in the front of your belly basically, it starts out in your lower back...the sacrum ...the tailbone...it hurts like aanything if its active labor and the best thing to do is stay on all fours and have someone rub your back. If your back just hurts...and its not coming and going like a ccontraction does...i would say sorry your back hurts but thats isnt labor.

i unfortunetly have been having back labor and its awful!it almost is comparable to a charlie horse in your lower back.and nothing you do really helps it to feel better.i thought a warm bath would help but it didnt!i would rather have pains in the front!hope you dont hurt as bad as i do and you have that baby soon!

OK you will hurt like he-- down low near your tail bone and or middle bottom of your back i also would think you would have a few contractions in the front to randomly goodluck have a epidural it is heaven dont go natural mom of 3

IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE PUSHING IN YOUR BACK DOWN THOUGH YOUR BUTT BELIEVE ME YOU WILL KNOW MY DAUGHTER IS 20 MONTHS AND I THOUGHT I WOULDN'T KNOW BUT I DID GOOD LUCK AND ITS NOT AS BAD AS YOU THINK IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST BABY I WAS IN LABOR FROM 2PM UNTIL 3AM THEY HAD TO DO A SECTION BUT IT WAS NO WHERE AS BAD AS I THOUGHT SO GOOD LUCK HOPE EVERYTHING GOES WELL BUT TRY TO STAY HOME AWHILE YOU WILL HAVE MORE FREEDOM TO MOVE AROUND THE HOSPITAL MADE ME JUST LAY ON MY BACK WITH SUCKED
