You may have a urinary tract infection. Certainly you should discuss this with your GP and drink plenty of water. This isn't 'normal' and there may be other underlying causes so you'd be wise to check it out.

There are actually a couple of things that could be causing this, I've had the same issues. The first time I ended up having a bladder infection, which doesnt seem serious but could end up with life-altering effects if not treated properly. I didnt treat mine until I could no longer bare the pain, and now I get the luxery of constant bladder infections and re-accuring kidney stones. The pain is unreal, so please dont let it get that far.
It could also just be irritation in your vagina from having sex. That has happened to me as well. If you dont have enough lube when you start, the inside of your vagina gets irritated, which you dont realize during sex because lubrication eventually happens. When you urinate, the urine could be hitting those irritated spots and causing the pain.
All in all, I would just get checked for a bladder infection. Its worth it. Please take care of yourself, and I wish you the best of luck.

You may have UTI, there is some monistat overthecounter pills that help. But always consult a doctor or pharmacist. If you do have it, and decide to take the over the counter pills, your pee will be colored, like dark orange. Its really weird, but it's normal. I had that same problem once and my doctor prescribed me some pills that dyed my pee blue, i felt so cool. Also he told me to take some acetaminophen, panadol or tylenol as this can help a little but the pills work best. Put a daily pad while you are on the treatment cuz you may stain your undies.

If it was only after you had sex, it could be just a small tear or sore in that area, and when you pee, urine gets on it and burns. It has happened to me before. Unless it continues, i really wouldnt worry about it!

You may have a bladder infection or cystitis. You may be allergic to the type of condom (if you're using one) or to the lube that you are using or even (it's rare but possible) to your husband's semen.
You need to find out precisely what is happening and how to deal with it. That means that you need to see your doctor.

It might just be a small tear on your genitalia and the urine gets into the tear and it burns. You should still ask your doctor just in case it is something worse.

sometimes i have this problem if i'm not properly lubricated when sex begins. i get all irritated, then urine burns the irritated skin. KY jelly! at first my hubby was sort of insulted that i needed lube... but now he loves it. we can just skip the foreplay for a quicky any time we want... without the pain afterwards.

~~~it sounds like you could possibly have a bladder infection,,,if you are in pain and you cannot finish urinating and you still feel as if you need to go,,,thats probably what it is,,,,,you need to get antibiotics from your Dr. If you are prone to bladder infections,,its a good idea to drink cranberry juice on a regular basis,,,,,but definatly see your Dr.....
You really do need to see a doctor.
Go to a female doctor if you're more comfortable.
If you don't get this checked out it could effect your uterus / bladder / cervix etc.
Put your mind at ease and see a doctor.
