I am by nature an Introvert. What you have said is correct that introverts need time and space to open up and to mix with others. I just can't talk or spend time with somebody I have just met or a person whom I hardly know and seldom do I make friends. I just don't want to throw my friendship to each and every person I meet. To be friends and to spend time together, it takes time, infact a lot. I like to spend my extra time, by just sitting alone and by spending time with myself.

Education expert Jill D. Burruss once said that "It is very difficult for an extrovert to understand an introvert," perhaps, if you are an extrovert it would really be hard for you to initially adjust with an introvert.

If you look carefully on them, there is a small allen wrench opening that allows you to fix them. They are just not correctly adjusted correctly when they leave the factory.
Sometimes they bump themeselves and the adjustment takes care of itself. Some never get adjusted and spend their lives making millions on the internet or in the computer gaming world.
Sometimes they get adjusted too far the other way, and they NEVER shut up, then you have the basic Rosie or Trump person. Which is worse? That is your call to make.

Basic nature as a rule does not change, they may, mix a little, and as you say open up a little but they do not change.

We are all individuals, so we need our own space, when a person need lots of space, on looker standards, he/she get labelled introvert. It is the label that he/she may not even know that people have given him/her that label. The person may have consider him/her actually opposite, people judging are also individuals with their own standards, like dislikes and hang ups.

There's nothing wrong with it. I change with my mood, sometimes I'm just not in the mood for company. I value myself and my beliefs and don't see why I should give myself freely to someone I don't know very well. Trust has to be earned. I don't want to just throw my friendship at anyone, I respect myself too much to give it away so cheaply. I'm never rude though, I smile politely and chat but don't think it's necessary to tell everyone my life story.

Is it required to an Introvert person?
Most of Introvert person are self sufficient to keep busy them salves in other activities compared to want of company or mixing.
If you say that Simone require that then don't call him/her introvert.

I am by nature, what I term, a "social loner." I certainly know how to socialize and enjoy the company of others, converse, etc. but also prefer and need time alone.

No, I think that is a misconception. It is just that they take a little more time to open up and of course need a little more personal space

Introvert people like to talk too but they may not like too much liberty or being informal and that's okay and you may learn to live with that.
