number one would be; follow me - rory gallagher... hands down. Great lyrics, amazing guitar and intriguing character.

2: One - U2; I love the way people seem to always think it's a love song, or even worse; a song about unity - while it is actually a song about not getting along and having to.

3: Fairy Tale of New York - the Pogues & Kirstie McColl; a christmas classic!

4: Ruby Tuesday - the Rolling Stones; again, a classic. Not a christmas one this time, though

5: I'm trying to decide between Brown Eyed Girl or Moondance, but since they're both Van Morrison songs I'll just use them both. In fact, why not Van Morrison's entire repertoire?

I couldn't possibly say. There are so many songs I love. I'm pretty sure my favourite song is Thick As A Brick by Jethro Tull but there are so many great songs that I could never do a top 5.
