If it helps, maybe you could have your sister tell him in her next email that you are ticked off about the situation because the whole thing was based on a lie in the first place. Then he may contact you to get the reak scoop. Just tell the guy that your friend had no business telling him that. Remind him that listening to other people on such issues is a mistake and that he should have asked you directly.

If you know his email address, just email him, even from your sisters account (if she will let you), and explain that your friend did it as a stupid joke, but you miss him just being a friend, and you don't want anything more. And that you hate the awkwardness now. Good luck.

confront him at school. Or you could go on your sisters email and pretend to be her saying "my sister doesnt like you like that" "your like her brother" "her friend was being a b**** when she told u that" etc.

maximum adult males could fairly have the girl ask him out (in my experience). consistent with danger he thinks he's being set up, in case you extremely like him ask him to dangle out, if he truly would not desire to be in a relationship you adult males could desire to easily go grab some lunch sometime merely as acquaintances, no physique is to busy to circulate have lunch with a pal. so some distance as your guy acquaintances go, consistent with danger they're jealous and try to sabotage you, tell them to returned off in case you do unlike them doing that. sturdy luck to ya! ;)
