I think therefore I am...

The philosophers and different disciplines of philosophy have argued even the existence of reality and what would constitute the verification of our existence, let alone a reality of it. Some would base reality upon an absolute as a beginning point. Others base reality upon subjective and objective and so on. Do you believe that sensing your existence and the existense of the world around you is reality? Reality begins with what you perceive? What if you become schizophrenic and perceive what others do not perceive? Is that private, subjective reality? verses objective, communal or scientific based reality? Is reality the ability to critique or reason about what you and/or others behold? value? sense? Do you want to start with a fundamental belief in an absolute, such as God? DO you want to argue reality from a position of logic? existentialism? Metaphysics? Logic? Ontology? In my own personal search for reality, I concluded (Subjective) that I do exist because of sensing/experiencing a physical, emotional, a rational, social, and a spiritual being. That was my premise. I sense that I am; therefore, I am. And I went from there to objectivity : what we all sense, intuit, experience collectively. You must decide where you wish to begin in this quest for reality and ultimately, the TRUTH of it.

Everyone's reality is what he/she thinks to be the reality, even if there is no reality at all.

When you see a mother caring for her child, when you see an elderly couple sitting on a park bench, or when you see the scumbags around the world filled with hate. That is reality

Nothingness, a cosmic hum without form within which all evolved consciousness melds. All our experience is a distortion of this reality being fractured into elements of space, motion and form due to our lack of spiritual evolution and insistence on self focus.

Try this, if you have an open mind it will blow it for you, honest, persevere its worth it if you are interested in this question

Reality is a word people put in front of the word "television" when they want to show people in abnormal situations exhibiting frantic, often demeaning, behaviour. Such as Big Brother.

"Reality" is often contrasted with what is ideal. So to see reality, just take the above and remove the television bit.

But please remember, my view of reality is subjective. Just like everyone else's.

Anything that ever was, is and will be.

Every thought, dream, waking moment and nothingness.

Light, dark and in between.

Not sure precisely, but assume reality is Everything and Nothing!

Maybe we should look at what is not reality? as it is easy to try to disprove a theory then prove it maybe all things are reality and all we have to do is be one.

reality in terms of your own personal reality is the life you live, perhaps what you perceive to be "real" the people you know the relationships you form and eventually your own death.
some people live their lives believing nothing is real and life is one big game, that's their reality, hence reality is your life and experience depending on how you choose to experience it and live it.

I believe that reality is whatever you percieve it to be. And that it is different for each individual person.
