I believe the mourning period for a President is 30 days

In mourning of the thrashing they will give the Saints. Seriously though, flags across the country are still at half staff for Ford. Just because the national day is over doesn't mean people can't still mourn. Besides, people are still mourning Katrina and that was over a year ago.

The flag is flown at half-mast for thirty days after the death of a President. Mr. Ford died on December 26, so the thirty-day period for him is not yet over.

Because the victims of Katrina Part 2 will be in mourning after the game.

Saints fans... prepare to get swamped again.. and this time there will be no federal assistance to help drag your as.ses out of the mud.
