Looking for non gay and gay life things to do, club to go to, org to join, dance lessons. things like that. Please anyone help me out, in real need of some new Friends.

Indy listed Out in Columbus which is a great site. Also Check out Stonewall Columbus, your local community center....very active.
A few years ago one of the national magazines voted Columbus as America's most livable gay city. The rating was based on a number of things including: gay rights legislation, night life, activities in and not in the gay community, housing, employment and a lot more.
Short North area has always been a favorite for me....interesting shops, good food, a monthly gallery hop. This area is north of downtown on High street.
Of course in any city to find the cool gays you have to check out historic neighborhoods....German Village and Victorian Village are 2 there I know of and there are several more.

Welcome to Ohio! IndyT and Hawk listed some good points. The Short North is a great area. It's located on High Street from Goodale up to about 5th Street. outincolumbus is a good site from what I've seen. Going to places and meeting people will help you get more "in the know" about what's going on too. I moved to Columbus about a year and a half ago and have really enjoyed it. It's great to take a walk and see rainbow and HRC flags hanging on houses every couple of blocks. :)

If you are not already aware of it there is a gay site called squirt.org that has listings by state and city. Simply do a site search and you may find what you are looking for. It's free.
