The Waterfront Restaurant is nice, good seafood.
If you want more of a panaramic view of the city, try the brunch at the Fairmont. It's at the top of Nob Hill, with sweeping views of the city.

Muir woods is a ought to work out. that is north of the Golden Gate bridge. Now I stay contained in the Napa valley or perhaps with if you aren't any further a huge wine lover, it continues to be properly worth going to. They actually have a citadel very reminiscent of what you would possibly want to work out in Europe. It even has a dungeon and a torture chamber. that is likewise a vineyard. that's noted as Castello di Amerosa and is on the north end of the Napa Valley. In November, the crush should be occurring and that is an truly good time to visit the Napa Valley.

I agree with Guyamas in Tiburon. Also Cliff House Bistro for Brunch is very nice. Get there before the crowds though.

One of my fave restaurants: Palomino on Embarcadero. You can sit on the patio (with heaters) overlooking the Bay Bridge. Great food with excellent service.

The Carnelian Room is awesome. It is on the 55th floor of a building; just make sure to request a window table. Pricey but worth it if you want to impress someone.
