Yep. There are lots of times when I just can't seem to find the words for what I'm trying to say. Or I only have the sentence half formed in my head and can't get my mouth around it when it comes out...

Frequently. We all do. What I do in that case is take a deep breath in, sit and think. I either write it done on a piece of paper to get my brain unwinded from either stress or overwhelmed brain. I also use email so that the person your trying to explain yourself to have the chance to take their time to read what your trying to explain and understand. They also have the time to respond. Once they have responded you can go from their, slowly interacting with eachother in person. They would know the base of your explaining and would just continue on from there. It can break barriers and immediate reactions. As if it were do be done immediately, you will need to think it out and choose your words wisely, same when your on the telephone. It's all depending on the situation of your explanation. Take a deep breath. Remain calm. Take the time needed. You have so much too say that it can block on how you share your thoughts. Stress can also block your words and the way you want to express yourself. It can become frustrating but have confidence. It will come to you with confidence also with practice. Take one step at the time.

I also agree with M-To-The-P's, reading helps for your brain to develop.

Stay positive.

I hope it helps.

Yes It is hard to explain myself and I think it is a defense mechanism or a defect in my brain to try to express myself and how I really feel. Not playing with too many outside children and being kept in a strick rule by my parents. Self Esteem is down and not easy to say money was not handy to send myself to college to get the dorm life and the lay over in English to be a writer and to well express what I really mean with out yelling and beating a dead bush.

LeRoy......

I have a tendency to repeat the main points to people....I think I do this because I want to make sure that people understand what I'm talking about (I wonder if what I have to say has any importance to people...Probably not, but I regressed)

I am a very Blunt and Honest person that speaks my mind when I communicate...

Sometimes it gets me into trouble, but I'm willing to pay the price!!

I used to have your problem, but it was because my Brain (I know it's small) had too many thoughts running thru all at once!!

Maybe you should try Electro-Shock Treatment with your local Wall-socket(lol)......Just Kidding!!

Yes! I am very bad at expressing myself when it comes to choosing the right words on the spot in a face to face conversation.....i always end up regretting not saying something when i remember what was said during the conversation...

Yes I do but what's worse is you know what you are trying to say but the right words just don't seem to want to come out.

Sometimes I do. Sometimes I have to stop, take a deep breath and then start again. After that I'm ok though. I have a tendacy to talk too fast sometimes and my brain can't keep up with my mouth. lol
