because im latin i feel the stereotype from people, even though im white, people in this country think if you are from central or south america and here you must've been poor and thats the reason one is here.
so for a while i was feeling the way you do, needing the approval of others. lately, i dont care anymore. i know who i am and where i come from, i know the life i had and i dont need to prove anything to others.
for me its their ignorance, the lack of knowing how lots of people live in our countries.
im sure you'll find you way soon and stop seeking the approval of others.

I think that all of us as humans seek approval even if we have enough or don't think we are,it is in our nature

i think that when i am seeking approval, and i stand back for a minute, i've decided that it's more of a cuddle and a bit of affection that i'm short of.

Most of us do it subconsciously w/o even knowing that we're doing it! The best thing is to just be yourself. If someone can't accept you for who you are, and respect your decions that you make in life, then you shouldn't be around them. If you find ppl contrasting with almost everything that you do on purpose, they are negative influences and you should seperate from them cuz they can hold you back in life.

Why else would anyone be spending thier Sunday trying to think of clever questions and answers?
There is a whole world out there, with real experiences to gain.

No, it is much more fun to march to the beat of your own drum . When you are in your teens it is considered "weird", when you are in your 20's it is considered "rebelling against authority", in your 30's it is considered "weird" again, but if you hold out until your '40's or later, you are considered as being "eclectic", "eccentric" and "original".
