Ok, i have recently purchased a lovely shiny red n white Ducati monster s2r.
i have the Ducati dainese leather jacket with full armour, i have a dainese back protector, im probably looking at either sidi or oxtar boots of some description but where i'd like ideas is in the trousers dept (or so to speak)
Im looking for some trousers that have knee protectors and any other additional protection but arnt the really tight fitting leather race type ones with knee sliders etc........does anybody make a decent cargo style or looser fitting lether trouser with ce armour? do i need leather? i have looked at these alpinestar ones (follow link) http://www.cusworths.co.uk/shop/product.php?productid=6966&cat=0&bestseller.

I know its about safety and not fashion but i just dont like the tight racey look of majority leather trousers ive seen so far and they dont look right with the style of my bike, i just wanted some trousers that look normal fitting with armour in black or khaki,,,,ideas?????

if there not fairly tight there will be no protection. the trousers will slide around if you take a fall.
make sure that when you zip close round the ankles that the trousers either tuck into your boots or the boots fit under them.

Have rack upon rack of good gear

I have "badass" denim jeans with kevlar lining when riding in summer but I do ride a Harley and not very fast but never the less the tarmac gets down to the bone very fast even at slow speeds

I generally wear a "Goretex" jacket and trousers but once again on a Ducati this would not look the part

Maybe I am just an ole fart

Hi, try dragginjeans.co.uk. They have a large range of Kevlar lined jeans, with protection at the hips and Knees. I've had mine for a year or so now, and in dry weather, they are great on the bike, and can be still worn with comfort if you decice to go straight to the pub afterwards.

Theres loads of them on Ebay. Nice camo jobs and black ones and all that. Knee pads included. Theres loads of gay leather ones too if you want a laugh. Personally, I like cheap. If I come off I don't want to be crying cos I've ripped the **** out of my £200 trousers.

Try draggin jeans, they look like normal jeans with kevlar protection in them.Look good and if you go anywhere you won't stand out like a member of the village people.
I'm getting a pair for my birthday ready for the summer.
