Yes. I believe that there is no such thing as being "too honest". I do have a bad habit of expressing my honest opinions at inappropriate times though, but at least people will always know where I stand on an issue. If you lie in order to "not hurt someone's feelings", you have to remember who you told what lie to and to remember not to share your true sentiments when that person is around. I would much rather hurt someone honestly than to mislead them with a lie. Liars are usually found out anyways, and that leads to mistrust and doubt. Then the person will never be able to figure out when you are really telling the truth.

Always; I am a horrible liar and there are times when that works to my disadvantage, unfortunately. Isn't it sad that we feel we cannot be too honest these days?

That would be me. I now have to stop and think before I answer peoples questions in real life (not here). I tend to speak before thinking and have taken to pausing to really digest the question. You never know who is offended by your thoughts.
