The best thing to use on any type of stain is GO-JO, you can purchase it at any auto parts store. Make sure it's the original formula, you don't want pumice. Use an old tooth brush and rub it into the stain and let it sit for about 5 minutes and rinse with cold water. This will not ruin the material or take out the color.
Here are a few things GO-JO will remove.
Blood, ink, dye, grease, gum, grape juice, oil, and any thing else you can think of.

What kind of grease? Auto/machine grease I can't help with. If it's food grease, use dishwashing liquid (Dawn works really good). Put the soap on the stain, let sit for 5 minutes, then rinse in cold water. Don't put the pants in the dryer until the stain is totally removed or you will set it permanantly.

Mean Green...is what you want for grease stains...One cup to a dishpan of cold water..let soak for at least an hour...this never fails to grease out of anything I have. It is relatively cheap, doesn't take the color out and leaves no smell or residue on the clothes. I add a cup of it to my regular wash to keep clothes from being grungy! I have 3 boys..and a auto mechanic husband..so greasy messy and stinky are my life....laugh..Good luck Take Care
