There is a direct bus service, but it takes a while as it goes via Heathrow.
Fastest would be train-tube-train. Trains to Gatwick go from Victoria, Stansted from Livepool street - but if you look at a London transport map you will see you can make connections via intermediate stations too.

National Express run a bus service between Gatwick and Stansted airports. It takes approximately 2 hrs 50 mins and costs from 30 pounds return. Details available at www.nationalexpress.com

By private car (not taxi), but if that's not an option, there is a non-stop bus from Stansted to Victoria Station where you can pick up the Gatwick Express (train) and vice-versa.
