Today the team won against West Indies by 14 runs... I still wonder how... there is nothing that can be done now as the worldcup is nearing, no more experimenting.. just have faith that miracles do happen sometime... but if India must win we dont need any miracle, you know why?
bcoz its not talent or skill that the indians lack, it is confidence and the urge to keep winning that is missing... so let us all come together to boost their confidence.. and so they will make us happy by winning...
EVERY SUCCESS BEGINS IN YOUR MIND, isn't it true buddies?

Once upon a time out of 11 players, nine used to be from Bombay because of merit. That is the right way and not zonal selection which is like a prime minsiter balancing his cabinet. Even if all 11 are from one region, it should be fine as long as it is one merit.

considering that cricket is a religion in India, the captian, coach and selectors should answer major questions on why people were selected or dropped.

For tournaments like world cup, it is better if the team selects its own captain because they alone can judge how good or bad he is.

Over experimentation by Dravid and Chappel should stop.

People like schewagg(K.srikkanth,Kapil Dev) have to be treated differently- they can only play an attacking game which implies the stockmarket pattern again- either they will do very well or be douwn in the dumps. Either we do away with them altogether or lbe a little flexible though continued failure should not be tolerated.

The issue also is "What do do about ourselves"- We should stop the knee jerk, stockmarket reaction of extremems in our treatment of cricketers in both praise and condemnation. Saurav Ganguly was treated very shabbily for somebody who served the country as captain and player so we

There should not be any kind for politics or favourism.. There is lots of talent in our country. The team must be selected based on talent and hard-work. In that case, if required you have to sit few senior players as well.

Its really interesting to see our boys perform this world cup. Many have ruled them out. But I am hopeful that we'll make it to semi-finals, atleast.

Better selection, better motivation: and, out politics. some more "patriotism" needed perhaps, more than monitary incentive at the moment! we seem to give up at wrong moments!
