i have a friend which i made last year,she is innocent and sometimes naives she is so easy to take advantage of, but i never did cause i think of her as a sis,her past best friend did.But now she is hanging out with this really gheeto grl who is changing my best f., and is also taking advantage of her. so i started liking this boy and my best friend who was influenced by her new gheeto friend was telling me that no i cant go out with him,cause i cant get him and beeing really mean when she is around.i noe sometimes i used to talk non stop bout him, because my best friend would want to noe wats goin on,and recently she is hanging out with that grl so much, that she is doin bad in school,and does things that arent really good. so the other day the guy that i liked made a move on me,so thing that my bf would like to hear bout it i call her,big mistake she snapped on me and then last nite she made her gheeto friend tell me that evry1 is annoyed by me and my crush.what should i do? help!

This is really important if u guyz help me, because i honestly dont want to loose my best friend , but i cant stand her new gheeto friend, her and her friend keep puttin me down. last nite she mad the worst move ever, tell me that no1 cares bout my stuff and that there sick n tired of hearing my stories bout that guy, cause in reality im never gonna get him. i felt so sad cause i always listen to her,even if i really dont care but this was like the water that filled the cup. she thinks im obssed and that im just annoying to talk to........i felt so bad ive cried my self to sleep,cause i really trusted her, so this morning i sent her and all my friends an email, saying that im sorry for annoying them with my girlie stuff. wat should i do, im really confuse if i should keep on trusting her! please help im desperate!

You do not need to be begging people for your attention. Then they will take advantage and assume they can get away with anything. you are better then that and deserve more. If this person is not going to reciprocate respect then you do not need him in your life. It sound's like maybe you need to place some distance in between you and these people who seem to have no regard for your feeling's!

Your situation reminds me of an experience I went through especially the 'ghetto friend'. I seriously think that you should just leave them but it isn't really an advice. So, I'll like to say that maybe she don't really take you as a best friend cause you only stated she's your best friend and not vice versa. Ask yourself, have she really been your best friend throughout the times you know her? A best friend wouldn't do what you mentioned. If they're really unhappy with you, they'll give you a sign like avoiding you for the moment or talk to you privately. One factor of a best friend is that they're a good listener. There's nothing much you can do cause the situation is speaking for itself. There's one thing which you can do that is to confront your best friend. Ask her out and talk to her privately. If she avoids you than it's clear that your friendship is over. Oh, you must be prepared to accept what's she going to tell you if you confront her. About the guy you like, you must take your steps one at a time and don't jump any. I just don't want whatever's happening with you and your best friend happens to the boy you like. The last resort for you is to just let whatever is hapenning past you and don't dwell on them anymore.

OK. Your crush is hitting on you and you think he doesn't like you? What? You gotta get his number send him a few texts see hows hes doing. Don't just blurt out I like you go out with me because that would honestly scare anyone not unless they really do like you back.
Your friend doesn't sound like too much of a friend to me. Buts that's just my opinion. You should tell her to stop putting you down because your sick of it and the only reason your being annoying is because you think your loosing her as a friend. Of course your gonna wanna talk about your crush and f they don't wanna hear about it then screw them and find some reliable people to hang around.
I know leaving behind old friends is hard but your being brought down and you should look for some other friends that will listen to you better. Good luck.

Hi,
If she was your 'real friend' then she would be happy for you if your guy is decent and generally nice. The fact that another girl has influenced her is her own fault. It looks like shes more interested in bullying you and taking away your confidence than actually being your 'best friend'.
Think about it more simply....what does 'best friend' mean? is she any of those things that are on your list?
If she isnt then you know that things have changed and yu need to move on.
If you ask me i think you are better off without someone who cant be happy for you and tries to take away your confidence.
Be strong and stay that way....the world can be cruel but if you stand by whats right, you'll be fine!

sweetheart, people are very insecure in high school and will do anything to fit in. chances are, your former best friend is trying too hard. you'll come to realise how this happens in every stage of your life, but it's most obvious during your teenage years. just stick to your own beliefs and if someone makes you feel bad about yourself, they're not worth your time. trust me, you'll find people who care about you genuinely and are not out there, desperate to impress their peers. for now, just do what you think you should and maybe it's time to let go of this dying friendship.
