better about the media if they just reported the news, instead of trying to make the news by putting a spin on everything.

that's what they should do, but it won't happen. They have to get better ratings than the next group and will do anything to get your attention. They don't even bother to explain the whole story anymore. Just the blaring headlines to get your attention.

Sadly, Bad news is entertaining...it is real life drama that evokes feelings. Good news gets boring.
