Just wondering. Personally I prefer Jhonen V (JTHM and IZ rock!!), but I also like Roman D's 'Lenore'. What do you think?

Lenore is cute, in that bowel-grippingly psychotic way, but it's hard to beat JV's sheer energy as demonstrated in JTHM (and Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors, an awesome collection that everyone should own).

Jhonen Vasquez is fantastic, Jonny The Homicidal Maniac the best comic out there and can't get enough of Invader Zim, his style is playful and he doesn't try too hard to give depth in his work.
He is insane and an under appreciated vagabond in my books bring it on Roman Dirge.

I really like both - BUT i have to say I always feel that Vasquez is trying a little TOO hard. Dirge has a wonderfull childlike quality that you cant fake......he is a better writer too.

I really like both, but I must admit I've only ever read a few strips of Lenore.
