My son was born @ 42 wks, he was 7lbs 1 oz was 19 1/2 inches long and I gained 45 lbs during pregnancy..and I have to wait about 8 more weeks to find out about my little girl!!

The sex of a baby does not determine when it will be born. However first time mom's usually tend to go into labor early, where mom's who have children go full term.

What ever you heard is a rumor...
I don't think if matters.
You can have a premature girl who could be born before a boy. or vice versa.
