1. There were 2 Byzantine-Persian wars (502 and 527 A.D.) and both were won under Justinian's reign. As Justinian was a Byzantian Emperor (i.e. leaning more toward a Greek background), you could declare him a "Roman" Emperor on formal grounds, but remember that, at that time, Rome was occupied by barbarian tribes coming from North, and the Western side of the "Roman" empire hardly meant anything then.
2. Formally, Scipio Africanus (i.e. a Roman) won the 1st Macedonian over Philip V of Macedonia by 205 B.C.
3. Again a Roman, Flavius Fimbria could defeat Mithridate's army in 85 BC at a handsome cost for both parties involved.
4. Caius Julius Caesar, then a Consul and an ill-inspired initiator of the Roman Empire did the job to win the Roman-Gallic wars, aside from other successful, and less famous Roman generals.

The Byzantine-Persian War was one by the Byzantines under Belisarius. The 1st Macedonian War was won by the Romans.
The 2nd Mithridatic War was won by the Romans under Pompey. (Sulla had to deal with Mithridates twice but they were really part of the same war). There were three Roman-Gallic Wars.
The first was the Gallic invasion of Rome in 395 A.D. under Brennus. They captured Rome except the Capital. Eventually either Camillus came back to drive them out or the Gauls could not hold it strategically and had to withdraw, abet with a lot of ransomed gold. They really had no other real strategic choice. This also might explain why the Romans were late particularly savage on the Gauls. The second war was the Samnite-Gallic war which cumulated in the battle of Segentium in 297 B.C. Here the Romans defeated the combined armies of the Samite federation and the Gauls. The third war of course was Julius Caesar's war of 58-50 B.C. He won it for Rome. Hope this helps.
