most psychologists agree that people do not remember anything before the age of four, however I have remembered something before the age of four. No one remembers being born, the neurons in our brain did not have the capacity for long-term memory at that time. When you are older, you will probably remember your youth if you are not suffering from dementia.
After you die, you remember your life in a falshback sequence. But that delves off into other variations depending on your religious beliefs. Also, some people believe that feelings of deja vu come from past lives.

I have preschool memories, I think that's as far as it goes in that direction. Except my mom showed me this video about childbirth a lot when I was little (I really liked watching it, it wasn't like she was forcing me to watch or something!) so I almost feel like I remember being in the womb from seeing that video so much....I have thought that people continue to live in the memory and lives of their loved one's after they die, so maybe the people who have died will be connected to those who are still living and will have memory after death somehow.
PS if you think you might forget what you did in your 20's when you're older, maybe you want to try doing some journaling or tape recording yourself telling some stories about your life so you can enjoy them later!

Do you remember your mother's voice?
As far as one month after the start of pregnancy, the baby (still in the womb) starts to recognize the strongest link he/she has to the outside world which is the the mother, or particularly the voice of the mother. If you can still remember your mom's voice up to now then you do remember something before you were even born...
As for after you die, we sometimes have recollections of our past lives don't we? It's up to us if we believe it or not... ^_^
