ps3

Doesn't really matter which one you pick just as long as you like it.

Don't listen to these fanboys telling you all sort of lies.

The PS3 is technically more powerful than the 360. That's just a simple fact based on the hardware. But it's not going to be that powerful if the developers don't know how to take advantage of it. Most developers agree that the PS3 is way more powerful than the 360, but they're having a difficult time developing for the cell processor.

Blu-ray has more filming company support than HD-DVD, and it also has the adult entertainment supporting it. Most people believe that VHS won over Beta because the adult entertainment supported VHS. Read the current issue of Gamepro, and you'll get a lot of info about the Blu-ray vs. HD-DVD battle. According to the article, the experts pick Blu-ray to be the winner by a wide margin.

Notice how everything that he claims to be a fact, he says it's from a non-biased party, yet, there's no link or any source to back him up.

The PS3 also has USB so you can use a mouse and keyboard if you want.

Big whoop about the 360 being customizable. Oh look, I can replace the face plate with another face place. That's a lot of customization.

RE5 is not a 360 exclusive. It will also be on the PS3.

The 360 is a huge colossal failure in Japan, but sales are slightly improving because of the game Blue Dragon, which is a 360 exclusive.

Don't buy a PS3 because you're only helping Sony to make money? What kind of logic is that? Doesn't buying a 360 help MS make money? Isn't that the whole point of companies selling things? To make money.

So, which system is better? Depends on how much fun you get out of each one. Do some research on your own and see which system has the games that you want to play, then buy that system. We all have different tastes, so what I think is best for me doesn't mean that it's best for you.

Technically there's very little difference between them. The main factor to base your choice on is which console has the games you're interested in. Sony have lost limited exclusivity on Grand Theft Auto, which will now be released on the 360 at the same time as the PS3 (or possibly even sooner), and Pro Evo 6 is already available for the 360, well in advance of the PS3.

It's also worth bearing in mind the large price differential, and the fact that the PS3 isn't available in the UK for another 3 months at the very least.

XBOX360 by far! Gears of War, Project Gotham 3, Halo 3, Shenmue 3 (tbc), House of the Dead 4 (2007), Resident Evil 5 (2007), GTA 4 will be on it also, not just on PS3. It also looks better, has huge customization options (replacement chrome cases etc), you can use a keyboard & mouse for fps games (with an add-on), doesn't run as hot inside, costs much less, its HD player makes films look better than blu-ray (said by non-biased experts) & probably more companies will use HD (the HD discs will probably be cheaper also), is easier to develop for, has the best online service, has the ability to be hacked (if you like that), has a better controller, doesn't use as much electricity, & will be able to run linux & or mac os at some point. Also Microsoft won't be going out of business. Also it is in reality more powerful (said by non-biased experts), sony always use tricky specs to fool you into thinking that their stuff is better but it's not. Also it doesn't look like a George Foreman Grill, & if you buy a 360 you will have the satisfaction of not making Sony any richer. The only good thing about PS3 is Tekken, but that alone isn't worth £550, having no money, supporting Sony, having a grill in your front room, & causing global warming faster than Blu-Ray fails, & then in the end being p***ed off 'cos you can't play Xbox Live, PGR, Gears of War, Shenmue, Halo, Resident Evil, House of the Dead, & HD DVD's, & you don't have a nice looking machine in your front froom that runs cooler.

ive heard that 360 is more powerfull & obviously cheaper but i am still holding out for a PS3.
I feel some loyalty to PS having had the PS1 & PS2 but also i think sony gets better games than 360 & has more influence on the market.

Plus blu-ray discs are supposed to be the mutts nutts!

ps3. better for all ages and it has blu-ray. it has been released after xbox 360 so it is better (see u do learn stuff @ schoool) it better cos they had longer to sort out the problems. the xbox has mostly 18+ games and it is overrated (onlythink i liked about the xbox was halo and halo 2)

if you want kill-all graphics but no gameplay and no fun (and no money any more)- pick the ps3

if you want a middle-of-the-road console with good graphics and some good gameplay- pick the xbox 360

if you actually want to enjoy playing ALL of your games, whether you are playing or watching, with ps2 looking graphics- pick the wii
