Jewish Christian does make sense (after all, the disciples were Jews. The followers of Jesus were part of a Jewish sect that over the years turned into a whole new religion. Christian Jews at the time thought that Jesus was the culmination of their faith (not as a destroyer). It was only when they were rejected by other Jews that they separated from their parent religion). For several centuries some Jewish Christian groups existed, condemned not only by traditional Jews but also by the early Church. Sorry I'm not answering the actual question (it seems to have been answered already) but it does bug me a bit when people claim Christianity has no links with Judaism whatsoever!
