That Muslims terrorist want to kill us and don't want to live in peace.
They don't want appeasement.

I thought 9/11 would have been enough but it has become a mud fight between parties who is to blame.
Lets just finish this war and get on with our lives before more Americans and other people in the world die.

Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Iraq had a lot to do with Muslim terrorist. Funding sucide bombers, the explosive expert of the 1st WTC attack fled to Iraq.
9/11 is not the only front we have to deal with but there are others.

They don't understand that these nuts believe that negotiating is a sign of weakness. Europeans also haven't figured this out either.

Unfortunately, it is not quite that simple. We have actually won the war in Iraq and are now really in a long mopping up process. The world is filled with terrorists, muslim, Christian, Atheist and others. The actual numbers are not quite as large as the news and the government would like us to believe, nor are they that well organized that we can get them all in one place or, even close enough together to take out. The "war on terror" is more of a soundbite than a reality. One cannot declare war on a word and there is noone to surrender and end it. The best we can do is secure ourselves and our friends and work towrard a better world where people do not have to resort to suicide to make a point.

Obviously everyone has their own opinion about important issues like this. Although I do not think this is anywhere near a fair question to publicly ask. My husband, brother in law, and sister in law are all in the military right now. They are proud to be serving their country and are willing to fight for our freedom to carry on with normal living, not to mention willingly fight for the Iraqi freedom too. My sister in law is in Iraq right now I haven't heard from her yet but everyone else I've heard put their two cents in about the issue says it's not that bad over there. The media greatly over exaggerates everything and notice they don't report 1 good thing about the war? Making progress is not important to them only when someone dies is. This is very unfortunate that the only view of the war we get is negative. There are plenty of good things that have happened over there and I don't have enough space to write them all. But the bottom line is the Iraqi people (most of them anyway) do appreciate what we have done and what we are trying to do, it just sucks that there are insurgents who get all the "glory" of making the news and nothing else does.

This is perpetual war.

Until the Muslim community stands up against the radicals, this will continue. We can't influence it much except for the ability to give security to moderate Muslims. When they feel secure enough the US won't cut and run on them in Afghanistan and Iraq, they will feel better about stepping up and taking over. I talk to Muslims nearly everyday who are glad that we are working for their freedom and security. They also know that when it's secure, we will leave them to their own and not earlier.

It hasn't been a mudfight between parties, it's the Dems trying to portray Republicans as warmongers. How do you NOT go to war when evil Terrorist Muslims fly planes into your country and kill 3,000 people? We need to kill every last one of the terrorists before the world is safe again. Not imprison. Kill.

I'm guessing your question is who's to blame. Well for the most part people like you who want peace and all your freedom's but ain't willing sacrifice anything for it, especially if it causes any inconvenience to you. So why don't you quit moaning and bytching about something that you know absolutely about. SOMETIMES YOU MUST FIGHT A WAR TO HAVE A LITTLE PEACE

That is the point, as a united America we can not be defeated, but the rhetoric spewed by the democrats are ruining this nation, they put politics above all else. They are costing American lives and prolonging this war. If the cowards are elected to the white house then god help us all.

Are you talking about the almost 10,000 Americans that die EACH YEAR at the hands of illegal aliens in our country or the just over 3000 Americans that have died over almost 5 years in Iraq? Your question is very apt....How many Americans must be killed in our own country by the hands of illegal aliens before we get it???

Do you get it???
