Fate is the concept which was brought in by folks who could not explain the cause - effect relationship based on human behavior. Today, with the knowledge we have, we dont have to believe in fate.

Which marketing manager will believe that their sales depends on fate. Which economist will believe that the inflation rate is decided by fate. They dont believe because they know what makes it sell more or what make inflation higher. IF we know only the output and not sure of inputs, we have to trust fate

Any action may be viewed in two ways one in good way and another badly. Even if we do a thing in the right way, it may be viewed adversely. To make things clear, for eg, if more criminals have been caught during a period, ruling party will say they have caught more criminals while the opposition will say that criminals have increased which is evident from the increase in the number of criminals caught. This make us believe in fate or afraid to do things.

Who can tell the duties what one is doing is correct or wrong?. It is only the conscience. If it is so and the conscience is saying it is correct we didn't want to afraid on fate.

There is nothing like good or bad in life. Killing people is one of the heinous crimes and yet countries spend huge amounts of their national income in training and keeping people prepared to carry on the act of killing on demand.
I hope you guessed what I mean. Defense personnel and their arsenals – one of the necessary evils. What you do is not judged by the act but by the purpose.
I hope by now I established the fact that there is nothing like good are bad but all our actions are choice between two evils.
Your inability to decide that what you have chosen is a better evil at the juncture of your action results into psychological fear - what others say?

Are you your physical body ? No you are not your physical body.
Are you your brain? No you are not your brain.
Are You ,your consciousness? No you are not your consciousness.
Physical body, brain, consciousness are all time and event dependent and none of them are capable of explaining "YOU or I".

fear is an instinct and instinct needs to be overcome with training and that takes repetition and diligence.
