Yes, because people are going to vote democrat because they think they will pull us out of Iraq. Anything that happens contrary to that will have negative repercussions among the american people and the democratic party. However, it is unreasonable for us to think that a new president will bring immediate withdrawal. Things like this are going to take time no matter who's in charge.

I too think it's a fair question. And yes, she will take a beating. Due to Iraq Bush is enjoying a 30% approval rating. And I guarantee the 70% of the folks that disapprove of him aren't all democrats. Clinton would suffer the same fate.

Absolutely. Death tolls matter. When L.B.J was president, and a Democrat, he did not get a free pass on the war. Quite the opposite. Let's not forget that Nixon began to remove the troops from Vietnam, and Ford finished the job. It is about party now, but wasn't then.

if Hillary wins, i am jumping the fence to Mexico, drinking their dirty water just to die of dehydration due to diarrhea. just so i don't have to live in the US with that bit -ch at the helm.

but yeah, everyone will still complain.
