Well, since this has gone two days and nobody has answered, the best I can do is offer some suggestions on where to look. Clothilde is a supplier of a huge variety of patterns and notions for home sewers. Another is called Home Sew. There's Newark Dressmaker Supply. All have web sites and all are people I have dealt with satisfactorily in the past.

As to me, I am leaving my sewing machine behind when I move. I suspect buying a tent would be simpler, but then I'm not talking to someone who wants to do the simpler thing, am I?

I know people do make them by hand, because I remember seeing ones with fantastic fabrics. It may have even been in a print catalog from one of the above-mentioned suppliers.

Sorry I can't be more specific, but my catalogs are all over the place as I pack to move.
