I have microsoft office 2003, I just go to "Insert" on the menu bar at the top and click page numbers. It just gives you an option box that pops up and asks where you want them and then it does it automatically everytime you go onto a new page.

That depends on your version of Work, but it can usually be found on the "insert" menu. Insert-->Page Number.

If you can't find it there, hit the F1 key and type into the search "Page Numbering". You'll definitely find it there.

Select the "Insert" menu and then select "Page Numbers" and choose your placement options.
