Anti-semitism was rampant in socialist Europe which was why the Jewish state of Israel was created. Do you think Jews brought the European hate to America?

Actually Israel now has the largest Jewish population in the world according to recent cenus statistics.
Hatred for the Jews has, is, and always will be unreasonable, unfounded and often ridiculous.
Such as the current Muslim claim that Jews occupy their land.
Never mind that Jews are the only peoples recorded in all the history books (even ancient Muslim manuscripts) as posessing that land through antiqity and all archeological discoveries support this fact.
Such as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calling the Holocaust a "myth"
I wonder how many people whose grandfathers saw the horror of the open grave pits and precisely kept records of death would agree. Or worse those whose relatives somehow surrvived the extermination camps themselves would have to say to such utter insanity.
Hatred in general is rarely based or even justified on truth. It is historically been motivated by power, money or both. And the atrocities commited powered by the most insane of lies. Lies so blatantly stupid that even kindergarders see through them.
Jews that immigrated to America in the 30s - 40s after being violently ousted from their diaspora homes in Russia, Europe, and the Middle East brought nothing with them beyond a solid educational and work ethic. Some great cultural food and music. And a desire to live in peace.
If you want to blame somone for the current anti-American seniment that pervades most of Europe. Then I suggest you look more closely at their current population make up.
France and the UK has in the last decade become increasingly Muslim...and again staticically speaking increasingly violent and frightening countries to inhabit.

Your correct in saying polls in Europe do not show a positive opinion of America(Americans) and Israel( Jews no matter where they are from )!
Anti semitism has never died in Europe and anti Americanism has always been part of political agenda....At the same time I can assure you as one who lived in Europe for over 20 years.. Europeans have a problem with them selves as nationalism is
common debate when it comes for example discussing the Eu...
So to answer your question its just the way they are..Another thing I notice is quite a few Americans refer to Europe as socialist ..Although there are socialist governments for the most part Europe is social democratic..and there is a difference !

Anti-Semetism is rampant in Europe, and it is alarming.
However, your reasoning about cause and effect is all wrong. Racially based hatred is not caused by the presence of the hated group. It is caused by the attitudes of the people doing the hating. Jews did not bring hatred of them with them, because they are not the cause of anti-Semetism, they are the object of it.
So, you have a fallacious argument based on a false cause and effect relationship. Normally, I'd forgive this as a common mistake by someone uneducated in rhetoric, but I think your false reasoning is intentional and a tool to spread your own hatred.

we do not have a vastly superior economy .. the Euro is slaughtering the dollar?????????? Socialism is working very well for them, crime rates, infant mortality, education, homelessness... well below that of the united states.. as for Tax.. we pay roughly half of what we earn anyway.. federal, state, sales, property, school,.... if you don't think you are paying through the nose than you are blind.
Europeans don't hate Americans they dislike our reckless and unstable government. But that's different than what you are trying to insinuate...
antisemitism has had it's day in the sun here as well...so what;s your point.
I love how the fascist right... the very same mentality that brought you the holocaust and it's denial.. now champion the Jews????? what a crock of sht.

No. I don't think so at all actually. Living in Europe.
I think that Europe is getting fed up (hate is not a term I would use) due to Americas false, often egotistical attitude towards themselves and other countries. (Not all americans, just a very vocal and rather dumb minorioty).
Travel the world then critisize it.

No Mister Vice President. Europe does not hate jews. They hate Israeli policies that deprive Palestinians of human rights, steal their land and call anyone a terrorist if they resist.
The Israeli lobby is THE most powerful political lobby in the United States and rules American foreign policy.
The Jewish community controls the american media and anyone that is critical of Israel is likened to a Nazi or Hitler. So there is NO fair debate on Israel and American foreign policy.

I smile to see one of your answerers quoting Norman Finkelstein. Finkelstein is an insane Jew who takes pleasure in flaunting his self-hatred for Jews and anything Jewish.
To your question, there is indeed growing anti-Semitism in Europe, reaching frightening proportions.
But it is far from clear that this anti-Semitism is directly connected to the Europeans' anti-Americanism.

Hate spread so quickly, there could be a number of reasons why people hate America. I think it has more to do with the hate that Americans display for everyone else.

NO. They dislike the US because we have a vastly superior economy, military, and an attitude that we will defend ourselves from all percieved threats. We understand that sometimes savage dictitorial thugs need to be confronted and sanctions.
