Well I think the whole star system sucks big time:it is made for slime balls to draw attention to the answers they gave to certain questions.I will only star questions that deserves one.
Where are the thumbs down by the way:or a blue moon, for a bad question?
Rob.
Yes i am as comfortable giving a star as using a thumb.

No, I preferred the thumbs. I could use thumbs down then, while now I'm only given the option to express a good opinion, which isn't fair, but I guess the official members of this site got tired of getting bad ratings so the yahoo community had to remove that option for their sake...

Another thing I don't like bout stars is that you can see who chose them.

The stars can only say if the question is good. I miss the fun in thumbing-down the really bad questions.
I was quite amused when only one of my questions got a major thumbs-down (and rightly so - lol). The rest were okay though.

I was giving everybody stars, then I read that the stars are intended to suggest Q to be featured on the Y!A home page, and I stopped.

I want the thumbs up and down for Q back!

Yeah, the only thing I don't really like is the fact that now you can actually see who gave who a star by clicking on the show who starred button.

Could we start a www.bringbackthethumbs.com?
