No, I think Israel will and this is more dangerous than if we do it. We are too weak with liberal democrats to do the right thing...

Should we attack Iran? .. let's be honest here. America has no issue dealing with horrible dictators, Fascist Regimes and despots of all walks... why is Iran suddenly in our cross hairs ? We've been building steadily toward this now for a few years..
I dare anyone interested in another perspective to google and read the P.N.A.C.' manifesto.. after Iran we will enter Syria..
The grand chess board is another excellent breakdown of the strategy. Both of these documents are produced by people associated with the American military.. there really is no denial of it.

Only if Iran invades another country.

The Iranian extremist regime will fall from within. Once Iraq is stable enough to fend for itself. The Iranian people are mostly pro-western. The Saddam threat has been eliminated. They will want freedom to worship and live as they see fit and not the way their extremist government insists.
The Iranian government is attempting to be a militaristic powerhouse but the foundation of this powerhouse has clay feet. The government will crumble. If they attain nuclear weapons it may be in our best interests to prop them up lest these weapons fall into the wrong hands.
This is why victory in Iraq is the only acceptable option.

I actually think this was drawn up before we sent the intial battle to IRAQ.
There was never any WMD, so something had to really be of interest there.

And this president has always showed hes planned everything before hand.

However I think that now that so much resistance has been vocalized hes had to adjust his plan somewhat., I stil think that its his intention to do so, but it seems like his secret motive was released out of the bag too soon.

Think about it.
What is the one thing that Bush needs to happen to salvage any credibility to his legacy?
He needs something big..huge
otherwise it would pail in comparison to the failure he has achieved with IRAQ.

And what is the only thing bigger tht IRAQ?
IRAN!
We have hated IRAN since the late 70's.
Destroy the threat IRAN poses - as hes made out LIKE HE MADE SADDAM OUT TO BE.

If he could do that, and restore peace in that region, then all his efforts would produce a big enough reward that would overshadow everything wrong hes done up till now.

North Korea is too big to take on, otherwise he would have tried.
No, this president is fighting tooth and nail to preserve a legacy as one of the greatest presidents ever--who went against the grain and stood his course.
And its so mind boggling that everyone ...can see how lost hes drifted off, where its no longer about doing whats best for the american people, but more doing whats best for george bush jr's reputation.

What a sad sad man
More sad is every american soldier whos been injured because of a leader who thinks by giving them salary raises and showing support for the military, is enough payment for fruitless loss of life that continues every single day we "stay the course of a fool"
but the saddest thing is that we have congress people more concerned about declaring their intent to run for president when they should be efforting to neutralize this idiot president of ours.

Its a sad sad country we live in

I realize Iraq is a mess. No one is happy about that.
But attacking Iran is different. That will be nuclear. We will need many many countries to fight that battle with us.
I suspect the surrounding countries next to Iran will cool their jets.

Depends it talks fail or Iran denotates a nuke.

I still think that if Iran does blow up a nuke on somebody dems will still blame Bush for not doing enough.

no, the usa alone will never attack iran, it will be a multinational force... something that we are all missing,, due to the media coverage( and is anti usa) that is russia, they are partners with iran, and help them to keep their weapons supply. if you think for one minute that russia is going to let iran take a major military hit,,,, then i got some swamp land to sell you....

I don't think that AIPAC and their neo-conmen in high places can pull off another Iraq with so little time left before the next elections.

The only way it will happen is if/when israel launches a unilateral sneak attack and the US will have to wade in and clean up the mess.

Onward Christian Soldiers!!
