Hi. Ive recently moved house and have a small yard, no grass out back. I have put up a bird table and a high line with bird feeders hanging off, along with fat balls, sunflower seeds etc, but the birds are just not coming. i know they are in the near area as a couple of doors down they have a few trees and I can see them in there, so why won't they come over to my feeders?? Does anyone have any more ideas on what i can do to attract them over??

Sounds like you need more cover in your yard. For now a bunch of tree branches and brush cuttings piled up around the feeders may help. The thicker and taller the better.
Also provide water.

We have a drought of birds whenever the Cooper's, Sharp-shinned, and Red-tailed Hawks are in the neighborhood.
You may have a hawk or a shrike hanging around.

Also, cats are literally kill more birds than any other enemy. No one seems to know the definition of "HOUSE" cat.
I periodically throw a can full of stones into the corner of the yard -- the commotion frightens those dang intruders without hurting them -- and the birds return within minutes.

Put a bird bath out there. Water attracts the birds and then they will find the food. Make sure the food is fresh. Some shelter is necessary so the birds can hide from predators.

Get rid of any cats in the yard. I have found that a half brick does the job but cat lovers tend to get upset. There are other methods :o)

Sounds like you may need more cover nearby, and maybe a water source. Plant some shrubs and/or small trees near the feeder, and put a shallow basin of water on your table. Be sure to change your water and feed regularly and sterilize to help prevent transmitting bird diseases.

If you are in a warmer climate in the states, I would try a water fountain. Birds can hear the water dripping from a distance and will frequent the fountain. It works for me.
