I actually like going to the horses mouth for my info.
I will watch the hearings that take place on CSPAN.
you gotta love Tivo
then I watch how the news stations react to what I have heard first hand
Only then can you see what network is actually out there giving you a fair and accurate interpretation of the happenings, and who,,cough FOX network, is trying to sway you one way or the other.
Someone try this.
Watch fox news..and see what they choose to report.
try and tell me its not Pro Bush pro republican no matter what they do. If its so bad they will focus on a different story to report.
And its always a slam against democrats.
Yeah they try to bring in the weakest democrat supporters to argue cases for democrats, but if ou want true political insight you stay clear from FOX.
CNN is good, I am starting to get hooked towards MSNBC
That keith overman dude is witty, funy, but he points out stuff liek the Bush administration reporting cancer deaths reaching all time low.
When it was CLINTONS action in his Term that past the CANCER FUNDING BILLS, Where BUSH cut the funding for such last year, and will again cut it this year, BUT TAKES ALL CREDIT FOR THE GOOD
Thats why I like it.
But again, I go straight to the horses mouth for my news.
Madeline Albrights foreign policy testimony was pretty insightful
I sound like a bore, I know but it really is a shame when you have jjournalist report falsely, or biasly
I use to watch FOX news all the time, and during the actual invasion efforts in IRAQ, I rememebr them reporting a story on MRE's and the soldiers not receiving enough food.
As prior service soldier I knew better
but they exploded it out to be such a terrible thing when it really wasnt.
Then the democrats were blamed for it.
Well that just opened my eyes.
So, read newspapers, watch CSPAN, anything else but dont watch FOX..or at least dont count on FOX for the most accurate news coverage.

I do most of the time.Sometimes it is just drivel. Yes as a political junky I find there focus a little more informative or at least insightful ( politician can be terribly uninformative). My problem is I can't see Meet the Press and Stephanopoulos both in full because they overlap. Of course Fox Sunday is the starter( speaking of which it is about that time) the others are kind of a counter point. I like hearing more than one viewpoint.
