Yes if you give lemons be prepared to turn it into lemonaid on the way down. Watch who you step on on the way up and do not step too hard because when you come down you come down hard. If you ditch someone someone will ditch you. I feel do not throw rocks at glass houses because some day you may live in a glass house and someone will throw rocks at you. Live and Let Live Yes get out of the way and let others show out on you so when you show out on them it will be well thought out and worth every syllable. As Eddie Murphy said You get what you give...thats why you get your A kicked...right now do you remember that glass you broke back in 74...Thats right

I think it does.

It may take it a long time, but it will. It also seems like if someone deliberately does you dirty, when they do get paid back by someone - somehow you will find out.

I once had a landlord who was a real sh**a**. It was said that none of the tenants in his apt buildings ever got any of their security deposit back. I sued him in small claim court to get mine. I also had an investigator from the State Offfice of Consumer Affairs to investigate.

When we went to court, the judge looked at my landlord and thanked him for letting him use the cabin when he went fishing. The Clerk of the Court looked at me and laughed and said "Son you are gonna get a lesson."

The judge told the investigator from the State Office of Consumer Affairs to set there and be quiet. The judge took the landlord's words as truth on every issue. When we walked out of the court, the landlord laughed at me and asked "Was it worth it? (making him come to court)?"

This happened in the state capital of Virginia.

About 5 years later, I was bored on a Saturday afternoon and started reading the paper - something I almost never did. Found an article where the landlord had been arrested for income tax evasion. The article said, the federal judge was excusing himself from the case cause he also knew the landlord.

It went on a few weeks/months, had another boring day and was reading the paper and found where a different federal judge had given him a year in a federal prison for income tax evasion. And had fined him over $100,000. The landlord claimed it was all a mistake by his CPA/tax accountant. The CPA/tax accountant was also the landlord's brother - he swore in court he had told the landlord not to do it.

I almost sent the landlord a letter asking "Was it worth it?" but decided not to. But what are the odds, that on those 2 days - I would be reading the paper? And even then, I didn't read all of the paper - but enough to find those articles.

Have also seen people at work, sooner or later get paid back for the bad things they do. It may take a while, but it kinds fun setting back and watching when you know it will happen.

Yes, one way or another, in this life or the next, people who do bad things will get what they deserve. This may be from the person who it was directed to or by someone else, and may take a small amount of time or a lifetime. I believe that what goes around will come around!

There are several alternative ways of saying "What goes around comes around" that may be enlightening. One is: What you touch touches you, which I believe is a paraphrase of Newton's third law. The other, used in quantum physics theory and in metaphysical churches such as Science of Mind and Unity, is "As the mind goes, the energy flows" or "Thoughts held in mind produce in kind". We are electromagnetic beings, and that which we allow to be our focus is that which we attract. If you are around someone who always speaks in negative terms (i.e., "I never win" or "I know this isn't going to work"), that person is setting himself/herself up to fail. If, on the other hand, one focuses upon and/or affirms the positives, the energies of All Creation are set in motion to align with positive energies emanating from that person.

If someone is unkind or violent towards another, it is often due to an imbalance within (a repressed negative attitude toward one's self) that is made further unbalanced by having taken hostile action against another, so yes: What goes around comes around. Centering to a positive sense of self is a very useful tool for ensuring that what DOES come around is beneficial instead of destructive.

No, I don't believe in Karma. I believe life fluctuates and everyone feels happiness and pain. Good fortune and misfortune. To blame events based on prior ones with absolutely no connection doesn't make much sense to me. Even if you believe in the positive negative thing. People interpret good and bad on a different scale.

yes...it's called KARMA...what you put out into the universe, you will get back in some form or another.

Perfect example, my husband turned out to be a real b*****d who was an alcoholic/addict with violent tendencies. Now that we've been divorced for many years, his health is failing, he's topped out at his job, and has three divorces under his belt.

I wouldn't wish anything bad to happen to him, but it does seem ironic that it has. We actually get along a little better now than we did!

Yes i do but it sounds terrible to almost wish misfortune on another based on their negative actions. But yea i use the phrase a lot and i can't help it, especially when i've been treated like s*** i think yea what goes around comes around!

I definitely believe in karma. Have you ever done anything nice, and got something nice in return, same goes with bad. I am a firm believer, it may be blindly, but I guess since I'm not religious, I should have faith in something.

I believe it to be true, sometimes it seems to take years but it always has a way of coming back around to you.
