depends on how long you are married to her and what kind of things she likes . You need to make sure it comes from your heart ! That you really want her to have something nice.
Maybe suprise here with a nice Reservation in a great restaurant and take her out dancing afterwards and then pass her a beautiful bracelett or someting nicer.

give her, her favorite flower that is what we really find sweet and a little card attached to it with a sweet thought ot something like a verse from a poem, then ask her out like what a movie or go out of town, or just prepare or cook something for both of u or buy some baloons and roses and fix it at ur bedroom to surprise her, or a breakfast in bed.
there is a lot of things that can touch other peoples heart
u can let ur wife feel important and love with the simpleist gift or an act.

cook her a nice romantic dinner.... lay up the table with candles and dim the lights... play some romantic music and get a really nice bottle of wine
she will appreciate the effort u have made more than gifts.
heres my personal favourite.... fillet steak with pepper sauce with a jacket potato and mushrooms and peas, with a side helping of garlis bread.... it will work a treat :D
then to put the icing on the cake u could present her with some nice jewelery.... or maybe an eternity ring? she will love the fact that u have tried so hard and taken the cooking duties away from her for a day :D

Just not practical!!! Practical is, "Hey, let's go to Target this weekend and pick up that dustbuster." Birthday gifts that I always enjoy are designer purses, jewelry, pretty lingerie (Victoria's Secret is always good), and tickets to things like the opera or a musical. And bringing home flowers on the day gives you A+++ points.

Bath products from Bath and Body works, L'occitane, Crabtree and Evelyn.....a romantic dinner...take her to the beach with a gourmet picnic basket if you live in a warm area.....treat her to a day spa if she is into that, take a weekend at an Inn in Hew Hampshire if you live in New England.....

Most women love jewelry. I suggest you buy her a set of birthstone earrings and/or a necklace. Further enhance your charm by taking her to a nice restaurant for dinner. Discreetly ask the Waiter or waitress to bring out a piece of (or a whole) cake while they sing "Happy Birthday" to her. It'll be one she'll never forget. I wish my husband would be this thoughtful.

Get together pics from your life together, up to present day. If they are not on your puter, have them put onto a CD. See if you have Windows Movie Maker on your puter and make a movie of all your pics. The program is easy to learn, and I think it's a great gift idea (inexpensive too)...with a nice dinner and flowers too
