every 6 months or so i have these very vivid and realistic dreams of death......the most recent and vivid one was that i was in my kitchen cutting vegies for dinner, my (at the time 8 mth old baby) sleeping in his cot....when i looked out the window and it was weird as the window was on the otherr side of my kichen (but that was the only inncorrect thing in my dream )i could see a nuclear or atom bomb dropppiing from the sky and i saw it blow up a fair distance away.....i ran to my babys room and as i got to his door way like the blast or whatever reached my house and i could feel like g-force feeling rip thru my body and everything was kinda blurred and orange tinged and there was like a loud sound kinda like a jet taking off that rung in my ears for the rest of the dream.....my baby was screaming and i grabbed him and couched down. my need to protect him was SO strong. this dream has reccured and i have always had recuring dreams but this dream really scares me....make me nausiated.

this is an anxiety dream, not a premonition
my guess is that there are things going on in your waking life right now that cause you to have great anxiety on a regular basis, be it in your current relationship (or relationship with someone close to you, either way, it is toxic and chaotic at this time) or something else that weights heavily on you. It seems that you feel helpless in your waking moments over this situation and so you are bringing it into your dream state and trying to make sense out of it and work through it. this issue that haunts your waking state may also either endanger your child or have something to do with your fear surrounding your child. there are steps that need to be taken (by you) in your waking state to help yourself, so that you can help your child, this should make those dreams go away....once this dilemma is resolved you should feel more "empowered"

babies also symbolize one of the first stages of growth, and new beginnings......you could be in the beginning stages of "becoming whole and well," but you need to take the steps to get there....whatever that may be...don't be afraid to involve others who may want to help

I also have dream problems i have very realistic dreams every 1 or 2 years (I dont know why I still remember them) but ive had it since I was in first grade a really long time ago, Any way if it is almost always the same it miht be interpretations find out its true meaning and solve the case then.. its done for problem solved I hope so : / have a good night sleep ^^

atomc bomb = holy spirit, miracles, power, sudden destruction, signs of last days. You may be dreaming of the future, God sometimes givs people dreams of the future. Which means you have the gift of prophecy. From Understanding the dreams you dream by Ira Milligan. God could also be pouring out the holy Ghost to you in a powerful way, you may want to pray and ask him what is going on, it may be a warning dream and such dreams are dreams you pray against. It reminds me of the scene in the terminator were the mother is on the playground and she seems the atomic bomb go off and everyone is killed.

You are obviously very worried about world events and the impact that it will have on your home life. Try telling yourself before you go to sleep that everything is going to be OK. Your baby is fine and relax. The subconscious mind will often act upon that which worries us the most even if you are not thinking of it all the time.

you are probably just worried about what kind of world your son will grow up in or whether he will get chance to grow up in it as so many children do not. After you have kids you will find that you are more sensitive to outer stimuli affecting your child. I often dream that my children need protection and i always wake in tears after one. I have found it helps to cast a circle of protection around my sons room and my bed (sprinkle salt around the area in a clockwise direction and say a prayer asking for protection from your favoured deity).
