Why?
Is everyone so stupid in congress that they will sit back and allow this prelude to strikes on Iran continue?
Everyone says the president can do whatever he wants as executive chief in time of war...
and by declaring a war on terror, with such a broad enemy, it means technically that he can strike china if he wants to.
Does anyone see how sneaky bush has been, and how dangerous he is becoming.
When are the democrats and the republicans going to take action
Oh wait, I know, AFTER Iran is engaged. They will all start taking ation because then it wont be as bad for their political future.
Does anyone else see something that needs to be done NOW,

What the heck is wrong with you guys.
Are you blind or just stupid?
Fight terrorism wherever it is..yeah in afganistan. And its everywhere always has been and long after we get the heck out of IRAQ. So whats the point?
Terrorist are always going to want to target america and its allies..does that mean we waste every dollar and every soldier seeking them out?
Thats just plain stupid?

I think that has been the plan all along. But the people of Iraq with their civil war and violence has put a block on his railway and he is running out of time to attack Iran, I think that will be the last straw for congress and the American people if he does, Oh, he will convince a few that it is necessary but the majority will hold him accountable.

A second carrier is being sent because it's required for the extended operations to pacify the militias in Iraq. It has nothing to do with Iran (no matter how much you're praying and hoping it does) other than to deter them from sending more of their terrorist trainers and war materials into Iraq.

Aircraft carriers have always been in the Persian Gulf. What would you propose ? Stay at home and wait for the rest of the world to implode ? We have to fight terror around the world no matter where it is. We fight it politically as well as militarily. Terrorist have no home country. We go where they go. As far as Iran, we cannot let their leader go unchecked on whatever he does. that would just embolden his ideals.
