I've just bought some stunning Irregular Choice knee boots and I want to wear them with leggings. Obviously I have to wear some sort of top too if I want to leave the house. Is it acceptable to wear a top or sweater that doesn't cover my bum, or does that just look trashy? I can't decide.
I'm an in proportion UK size 10.

hiya, me and my friend were having this same conversation yesterday, a short top would look fine and the boots would really dress it up and give it that sexy but casual look but i personally think leggings look better with a longer top, just past the bum cos you have to be careful not to look like something from flashdance. dont stress im sure you will look stunning!! have a great day :0)

I'm sorry but even if you were a size 1, I would think in something as tight as leggings, you should wear something that covers at least the top half of your bum. I think that the leggings because of their fit, are still revealing despite if they cover all. People don't seem to get it. Something that fist like a glue is almost just as revealing as nudity. Leaves nothing to the imagination.

No that is perfectly OK to just wear a sweater of t-shirt. You don't have to cover your "bum" if you don't want to. It will look very sexy, but not trashy. Go for it. Size 10 is perfect.

Thats fine.
but try wearing a looser top! not baggy but not too tight.
And make sure the tops not a trashy one . espesialy with a slogan on. like check out these buns or ne thing like that!
i wouldnt recomend this for anyone bigger then size 10.

it depends on the size of your bum, large ones look better covered slightly with a loose top, or if youy have a nice shape, wear a crop top and show that figure off!

well seen as your size 10 which is thin you might get away with it and make sure they are black, and also make sure the top is longiish, not really really short haa, i have ofen wondered this but i havnt seen many people walking round with there bums tottally showin but a relativly short long top if you get me, i wnt out with leggins and short long top which jus about covard my bum on friday i everyone sed i looked good so.. good look

If you think that you'd feel comfortable with a not so long top then go for it...As long as the top isn't trashy then it won't look trashy. Best of luck.

its fine to wear a top that doesnt cover your bum if you have a body to carry it off...see I have the bum, but not the waist band!
