I had a record sealed about 1 year ago... How can I check that it really has been sealed? I'm just starting to look for a new job, and I'd hate to find out the hard way..

I assume you are referring to a criminal record? If that is the case, you can have a criminal background check run on yourself. There are services you can access on line. If it were me, I would go to your local sheriff or police department and get them to run a criminal background check. It should only run about $10. They may be able to run it while you wait.

Call the prosecuting attorney's office.
