My vagina is really sore and itchy and I've had an increase in discharge..is this a yeast infection? If it is I've never had one this severe, or is it just one of the many problems pregnant women get in their last trimester? Thanks =)

It could be a yeast infection. Some women get them badly throughout their pregnancy. Ask you doctor when you see them :-)

Sounds like a yeast infection to me! Out of 4 pregnancies I had one that lasted almost the entire pregnancy! Pregnant women are just magnets for yeast infections and they are harder to cure and more severe when we have them.
It is a good thing that you have an appointment this week because your doctor may want to see you to be sure.
Good luck dear, I hope it clears up quickly, I know how miserable they can make you feel!
Take care.

My girlfriend had the same exact thing, I brought her some Vagisil and gave her a warm bath for about a week and that cleared it right up. It all comes from hormones and it is a natural part of pregnancy.
