I have a black line down the side of my monitor?

When I put my computer on I have a black line down the one side of my monitor, I have to press Auto on my monitor to make it go,then I get two small faces with a line connected, then I have to turn the monitor off and on to make them go. Help Please

Instead of pressing Auto try getting into the Menu option. There you will find several options one of which will let you move your screen horizontally. You can use this option to move your screen to cover up the black line. If you get the black line on the other side after doing this then you need to find another option that will let you stretch your screen view horizontally which will make sure the black line does not appear on any side. This procedure will not work if you have any hardware problems on your monitor thats causing the problem.
