They are fence sitters and will not take a stand on an issue, but prefer the middle of the road, until they are forced to choose. They prefer to cooperate and compromise, and will give up, even when they feel they are in the right, rather than put up with the ordeal of an argument. The more negative Libran character can be frivolous, flirty and quite shallow. In romance they can be indulgent to the point of hedonistic. Librans can be changeable and indecisive, impatient of routine, boringly conventional and timid . Because they are slow to anger, Librans will shock everyone around them with their sudden outbursts of rage. Many Librans have been known to be hopeless gamblers. The Libra women are a dove whose hank side comes out unexpectedly under stress, usually in the form of pretended concern. She has an enormous problem with unacknowledged, repressed anger. She is first of all unlikely to recognize her anger. Second, she does not know how to express anger honestly and constructively. Lest she feel overwhelmed by the problem, she should rest assured that almost everyone in our culture shares it. Libra wants control. She tries to achieve it by with holding her anger and practicing manipulation. She appears solicitous but in fact may be ignoring the other person. The typical Libra almost never discusses anger with her partner. Instead, she persists in destructive actions. Drama is the key word. You are intensely feminine and an instinctive exhibitionist. You feel your body was made to be seen and admired. When approached the right way, you find it easy to say yes to almost anything.

I don't know who would think such a thing. Libra is like one of the best zodiac signs out there. I'm a Sagittarius, but I love Libra's as well as Leo's, Cancer's, Scorpio's, and other Sagittarians. Libra's are very gentle, and mild mannered. Their are so many of their traits I like. Don't listen to these people. It seems that all the signs have bad things to say about the next sign. Were all a different sign for a reason, and I think it's great that we have so many different traits and personalities from each other. If we were all the same sign it sure would be a boring world.

That's weird, it's no worse off than any of the other signs. All the signs supposedly have their good features or bad features.

Maybe you just know a lot of Cancers or Capricorns or people with those two signs very strong in their birth charts. Those two signs do not get along very well with Libra.

Another thing is something that astrologers might know that the everyone else doesn't actually know, but might know intuitively. And that has to do with sun in Libra.
You see, every planet has a best position and worst position. Venus is best in Libra or Pisces, Moon in Taurus, Sun in Aries, Saturn in Gemini, etc....
It just so happens that Sun in Libra is the worst position for the Sun to be in, according to astrology. It's no coincidence that this is opposite sun in aries which is the best or "exalted" position of the sun, along with sun in leo (both are fire signs). This can make Libra appear to have a lack of energy or even appear lazy. Librans can make up for this shortcoming by creating their legendary "iron will" or "iron fist beneath the velvet glove" that they are known for. Or, if they have Venus in Libra, which many Librans do, they will have strong artistic talents, and/or a strong sense of justice to give them the strength they need.

It is interesting to note that Libra is an air sign. It is as if the air of Libra is being "consumed", if you will, by the sun (sun or fire consumes air).

Strange but true: Are you American or in the US? It is interesting to note that some astrologers consider nations to have their own sun sign, according to their nature or birthdate. America, 07/04/1776 is a Cancer sign nation where as Japan is a Libra sign nation. Cancer and Libra traditionally don't always get along that well, so is it any coincidence that the US and Japan fought each other during WWII? Also, if you're in the US, a lot of people may be "tuned in" to the Cancer vibe of the US. It's definitely a far fetched thought, but some Libra individuals in the US may appear to be at odds with the nation they are in!!!

Libras, who celebrate their birthdays between Sept. 23-Oct. 22 and are supposed to embody balance, turned out to be the worst drivers...
That's the sign with the balance, the scales, and they are always looking for harmony, but at 5 o'clock rush hour there is no balance and harmony...
They are also charming and sincere, but when unhappy or frustrated in their ambitions they may exhibit some less attractive traits, such as laziness, narcissism, and indecisiveness. Librans are uncontrollably flirtatious, and even though they may not intend to cause any discord by this, to them, harmless habit, it may get them in hot water with those who regard is as a symptom of underlying dissatisfaction...

Libras are not that bad. It depends on the person. Sometimes I think they kind of are tattle-tales. I have two brothers that are both libras. It's not the worst sign.
