Hi if ever i ran out of nail varnish remover i used to just use a nail varnish i didnt use much or didnt like, paint over the old nail varnish and then rub it of, It works but does take a while to get it all off. I used to use this method all the time as i hated the smell of nail varnish remover and it used to make my skin crack. So this is what i would do if i ran out of nail varnish remover. I dont know why it works but if does

try hairspray, sometimes that works, depending on brand. Failing that varnish over it

If you do it quickly another coat on top will soften and melt the old polish and you can wipe it off, or just pop out to shops, lots open on sundays now!!

you may find that surgical spirit will do the same job, alternatively, try using a proprietary glue remover.
