Since the minute I found out I was pregnant upto now (nearly 10 weeks) I have had unexplained pains, some sharp, some dull aches. I have had a scan to exclude eptopic pregnancy so Im told all is well....although I did bleed minimally at 6 weeks....for about the first two weeks of missing my period, I had cramps nearly everyday like what you get when you are due on. I did read though that pain that comes from the back round to the stomach should be checked out....but my guess is you are like all pregnant women...worried about everything, which is totally natural. Goodluck and if you are worried, ask them to give you a scan...if you are really early in pregnancy then it might be an internal scan(like I had to have) but it is reassuring x

It is normal yeah i am three and a half months pregnant and have been in a and e twice because the pains worried me so much but each time i have been checked out and told that it is just your muscles streching and things moving around to get ready for the hughe amount you are going to grow till the baby comes.

Ha, Sharp pains. Don't you just looove those. Yes that is streching, Very painful sometimes more then most. Especially when you sneeze or cough. It just means your belly is growing getting ready for baby. Its gets worse each time you get pregnant too!!

OMG yes. With every single one of my babies I've had horrible cramping pains and sharp abdominal pain- all totally normal - apparently. If you ever get worried about it see your Dr - they should understand.

Best wishes

Yes, and it has a name: round ligament pain. It's just your body stretching to accomodate your growing uterus, and you might have them throughout your pregnancy.

Sometimes they're jarring, but they're perfectly normal.
