My corsa is a bit sluggish Sometimes, after i have been stuck in traffic. It has done only 35000 miles and i have had it serviced regular, it is 7 years old and i have had it from new, it pulls up hil fine, only happens in the lowest gear

not a genius on this, have you tried cleaning your air filter or replacing it. Is it a diesel corsa?
could be a number of things. Try the air filter first andsee if it helps.

Just drive the car alot more, I used to rarely drive my car back when I lived close to my job. Not a good thing, take the car out for a spin once in a while, get it going more, put some mileage on it. Cars these days are even more so, made to be driven around alot.

had the same problem and was told there is a sensor that fits somewhere behind the engine, which checks the exhaust gasses this can get carbonated up and will not send the right message to engine management system it will need to be cleaned or replaced.check with dealer first thy do have machine that analyses engine problems

lock up converter switch needs replaced, its locked in a high gear and that makes it sluggish til u get going take to a good trans shop or dealer for proper diagnoses

Is it due a service? Sounds like it to me. Ignore the answer above me I don't know what he/she's talking about I presume they think it's an atuo gearbox
